Julie Duerr has asked for prayer for two of her friends...please see her email below...
#1 Christina Churchill (Church) who attends Crossroads gained a niece on March 1, 2009 she is
still in NICU with lung infection. Parents still haven't held her yet! Please pray for healing and I think that Church's brother and sister-in-law are occasional believers.
#2 Linda who works in the same building has a granddaughter in Children's with B strain of the flu virus and it has attacked the brain stem, she has had several mini strokes and is currently in a coma. She is able to breath on her own but needs to have her lungs cleared often so they may do a tracheotomy this week. Her condition is quite rare and there have only been 50 cases ever reported like hers. She has all the top doctors reviewing her case, the CDC has been in to document her case, they have done a story about her on Channel 9, but we all know that God is the only REAL healer so I ask for prayer for her recovery. Her parents and her Grandmother are true believers and have given her completely to HIM.
Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayers before we request them. We lift up Christina's little baby niece and ask you to heal her lungs. We ask you to give her strength Father and to bring her hope soon. We also life upt the grandaughter of Linda and this virus that has attacked her little body. Father is a case such as this that leaves us helpless, we KNOW that you have ALL things under control. We pray for miracles for these sweet children that you planned at the beginning of time...none of this is a surprise to you Jesus...you are the healer the mighty physician and we trust you with their plans. Thank you Jesus for your compassion and love for these children and for wrapping them in your arms when they are helpless. We know that your touch holds healing...we thank you for the healing you have brought. Thank you for your gift of life both here on Earth and for eternity. We love you with all of our hearts...take each breath and each word and use it for Your glory Father...We ask you all of these things in the name of JESUS! Amen
